Rösti with sausage or Zürcher Geschnetzeltes was yesterday, today we are venturing into new territory. But when you try this dish, don't be surprised if you feel like going on holiday to Asia afterwards. The recipe is free, but unfortunately the flight is not.
Recipe: Yum Woon Sen glass noodle salad
Main course for 4 people
Ingredients
- 100 grams glass noodles
- 4 tablespoons of lime juice
- 1 tbsp raw sugar
- 4 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 red chilli
- 250 grams of cherry tomatoes
- 2 spring onions
- 250 grams prawns with tail, cooked
- 0.5 bunch coriander
- 1 tbsp salted peanuts
How it works
Pour boiling water over the glass noodles in a bowl. Leave to stand for 5 minutes. Mix the lime juice, sugar and fish sauce. Press in the garlic. Deseed and chop the chilli. Halve the tomatoes. Slice the spring onions into rings, including the green. Pour the glass noodles into a sieve and drain. Mix all the ingredients up to and including the prawns with the glass noodles. Sprinkle with coriander and serve. Roughly chop the nuts and sprinkle on top.
