A network that I underestimated
Designers are creating a range of furniture and accessories that incorporate a metal grid. The structure lends lightness to the designs and makes them unexpectedly chic.
I've changed my mind. Originally, I thought that designs with lattice structures were cool and anything but cosy. Now I've discovered their advantages. As with everything in interior design, it's all about the combination.
Furniture
A grille makes a piece of furniture special. It has a minimalist aesthetic that differs from ornamental or floral patterns. This gives it a contemporary look and makes it easy to integrate into any interior. The symmetry contributes to the calm overall appearance of a room.
The pieces of furniture, which favour any air flow, have another advantage: they are not obtrusive. A chair, for example, appears lighter than one made of solid wood. It is less dominant in a dining area with many chairs. Next to a heavy sofa, a coffee table with a lattice as a base lightens up the living room. This makes it look less cluttered. This is a bonus, especially if space is limited.

Whether you have a Scandi or industrial living style, the meshes adapt thanks to their "air holes". Combine the austere matrix with warm materials such as wood, rattan or textiles. Flowers and other decorations such as candlesticks and souvenirs also add to the effect.

Lighting
A grid creates a new dimension by casting a shadow in combination with light. This changes depending on the viewing angle and is sometimes finer, sometimes coarser, depending on the mesh. Encourage the play of shadows by using wall lights. There it can unfold freely.
Accessories
The metal rods have another advantage when used as wall decorations: magnets stick to them. This turns a grid into an unconventional and flexible frame for your pictures. When it comes to storage, wired baskets or shelves provide a clear overview. They help you find what you're looking for more quickly.
