Set the tone for spring by turning your home into a green oasis. There’s space for plants in everyone’s home. Get creative and think of new ways to arrange and stage your home plants – here’s some inspiration!
Not everyone’s welcome in your home, right? With plants, it’s just like with friends: You decide who you like and who’s a match. Once you’ve opened your heart to someone, you want your guests to feel at home in your four walls. You don’t want them to sit on the same chair at the dining table all night, but chill out on the sofa or take a seat on your favourite carpet. The same applies for home plants. They don’t have to stand on the same spot in the corner of your living room all the time; there are many other great ways to arrange and stage your green housemates.
Put your plants on a pedestal
Set a stage for your plants by arranging them on your windowsill, wall rack, bookshelf – alone or in groups. The magic is in the mix; metal and ceramic pots are a wonderful combination.
Create a carpet of green
Side tables and staircases are a great place for your home plants. You’re pragmatic about interior design? Use your plants to divide your room into sections or to cover up any spots you’d like to hide.
Make use of high ceilings
High ceilings offer a range of new possibilities to stage your plants. Hanging pots draw attention to the height of a room and add an airy and playful feel while keeping the floor clear.
Add splashes of colour and life to your walls
As wall decoration, with climbing plant support or on a windowsill: Arrange your plants to a piece of art.
