7 ways to stage your pictures in an unusual way
Many roads lead to Rome: your photos, postcards or works of art can be displayed not only in picture frames but also with other aids such as drawing pins. Find out what options are available here.
When it comes to interior styling, I don't always go for the obvious, but for the creative solution. Photos and co. can't just hang on the wall in picture frames. They can be displayed in different ways. Whether with drawing pins or paper clips, let your imagination run wild and try out one of my tips. It's worth it, because you already have most of the "ingredients" at home and your favourite motifs will come into their own without much effort.
On a string
With a packing string or a gift ribbon, you can stretch either a horizontal or vertical line and mount your pictures with paper clips or clothes pegs. Colourful ones provide an additional splash of colour. In contrast to a picture wall, as I recently learnt and showed you, this variant requires less hammering and is more flexible.
As an alternative to the string on the wall, remove the glass from a picture frame and stretch a ribbon from one side to the other to attach Polaroids and much more. You can change the motifs in an instant if you want a breath of fresh air.

With a clipboard
In today's digital world, I use pen and paper less and less, let alone the clipboard I remember from my school days. So I'm currently repurposing it: I clip my pictures onto the board and place it on my sideboard. Alternatively, choose your desk or other surfaces that are bare. This variant is so uncomplicated that there's no reason not to give it a try.

With a shelf
If you want to be flexible in your choice of artwork, hanging it on a wall shelf is practical. It's the only thing you need to assemble. After that, you have room to move it around. The shelf should offer enough space and be designed in such a way that picture frames or a clipboard cannot fall off. There are models that have a raised section on the sides.

On a chest of drawers
Without any fuss, you can place picture frames on shelves or on the floor in your own home. Choose atypical places in the bathroom or kitchen for a change. The frame protects illustrations and the like from splashes. A combination of hanging and leaning pictures can be beautiful, as can be seen in the picture below.

With a bracket
Office staples are underestimated. They don't just score points in the office. I use them to staple postcards and other loose papers together and hang them up. Choose two formats for this solution, for example one in A4 and one in A6, and attach the motifs to the wall with a clip and a nail.

Pinned to the wall...
Of course, nailing a photo to the wall is a classic solution. You can reinterpret it by removing the colourful caps from conventional tacks and turning them into golden ornaments or you can choose pretty alternatives in a heart shape.

...or glued
Because adhesive tape comes in a variety of colours, it is not just made for wrapping gifts. With dotted or striped patterns, it has a decorative character that will pimp up your walls together with your creations.
