Inspired by the mighty Ortler, the highest peak in South Tyrol: the Ortler Durastretch softshell jacket is designed for changeable autumn, winter and spring conditions.

Its breathable softshell fabric offers you excellent all-round weather protection and thermal comfort. It is made from Naturetec, a lightweight, PFC-free fabric from Swiss functional textile expert Schoeller®. The unique softshell material is made from robust, partially recycled polyamide functional fibres woven with natural merino wool on the inside, which feels super comfortable against the skin. Durastretch ripstop inserts on the shoulders additionally increase durability and abrasion resistance, for example when carrying a backpack. Other features include an ergonomic hood that can be worn under a helmet and Velcro-adjustable cuffs.

This Salewa Committed model also has a PFC-free DWR coating (durable water repellent).
