Inspired by the mighty Ortler, the highest peak in South Tyrol: The Ortler Durastretch Softshell Jacket is designed for changeable autumn, winter, and spring conditions.

Its breathable softshell fabric provides excellent all-round weather protection and thermal comfort. It is made from Naturetec, a lightweight, PFC-free fabric from the Swiss functional textile expert Schoeller. The unique softshell material consists of durable, partially recycled polyamide functional fibers, which are woven on the inside with natural merino wool that feels incredibly comfortable against the skin. Durastretch ripstop inserts at the shoulders further enhance durability and abrasion resistance, for example, when carrying a backpack. Additional features include an ergonomic hood that can be worn under a helmet and adjustable sleeve cuffs with Velcro.

This Salewa Committed model is also equipped with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating.
