Waterproof, large packing volume with low weight, easy to handle, and incredibly easy to transport – this earned the Duffle RS by Ortlieb the Industry Award 2014 at the OutDoor trade fair! It was recognized for its exceptionally high level of innovation and design quality. But what makes the Duffle so special? Duffles with wheels have been around for years and are now indispensable in the travel scene. Ortlieb has tailored a wheel system specifically for its Duffle RS, designed to perform well off the beaten path. The 90 mm wheels are integrated into the bag body and provide not only absolute ground clearance but also 100% waterproofing. The additional aluminum base plate and abrasion-resistant Cordura material are a challenge to all ground conditions. And what is perfect at the bottom translates smoothly to the top. Ortlieb has completely eliminated a heavy telescopic frame and instead equipped the bag with an adjustable strap handle. This results in easy pulling with plenty of legroom and a good kilo less in weight. But that’s not all. The absence of a telescopic handle allows the Duffle RS to have a soft, flexible back, enabling it to be easily rolled up for space-saving storage when needed. The waterproof TIZIP zipper, running the entire length, offers convenience when packing and unpacking. Additionally, the travel bag features an inner pocket, an outer mesh pocket, removable and adjustable shoulder/carry straps, and various material loops for securing additional gear.
