To enhance fit, the Cherrapunji rain poncho is now available in three different sizes. The positive features for weather protection on dreary, rainy autumn days or during stormy gusts at the coast have remained unchanged. The waterproof, tear-resistant nylon outer material, sealed seams, and a water column of 12,000 mm ensure lasting dry comfort. The size of the hood with a shape-retaining brim can be adjusted with Velcro straps. For daily bike commuters, two additional features have been integrated. The rain poncho is equipped with 3M Scotchlite reflective strips on both sides, increasing safety in road traffic and allowing for early recognition at dusk. Furthermore, practical fastening loops have been incorporated at the bottom to prevent annoying flapping in the wind. Even a small daypack can be worn underneath the poncho. The front pocket with a YKK zipper offers ample storage space to securely keep important items such as a wallet, mobile phone, or house keys dry during day trips, bike rides, or walks. Additionally, the pocket serves as a packing bag for the poncho itself. The entire poncho can be stowed away using a stuffing technique, allowing it to be packed down to a small size and easily stored in a backpack.
