Normani began as a sock market stall in the 1980s. Founder Norman Schneller says that it was a market tradition for many customers to first eat a bratwurst and then buy another bag of socks for the next season. The sock stand soon outgrew the market dimensions, and in the nineties the company ventured into online business, where Normani was able to build up a satisfied regular clientele. From 2004, the original sock house sold from its own production with registered brand, the items are manufactured in family farms in Italy and Turkey. Normani's quality and service are able to convince a wide clientele, and in the meantime the online house offers much more than socks. The assortment includes clothing such as undershirts and shirts, accessories, backpacks, hats and household and garden items, as well as many other articles for everyday use.
