The tried-and-true "Boonie Hat," commonly known as a wide-brim hat, originally gained fame as a tropical hat for the US Army. Even 55 years later, it remains very popular and is increasingly marketed as a clothing item for everyone. With its wide brim, it reliably protects the head and face from sunlight. In a sturdy ripstop design, the lightweight "Boonie Hat" is particularly tear-resistant and durable, yet it can also be rolled up and tucked into a pocket. Four ventilation holes with insect mesh prevent the entry of small insects, while the breathable, skin-friendly cotton fabric ensures pleasant air circulation, thus enhancing wearing comfort.
