The Downtek treatment ensures that the down retains its density and loft even in moisture, thus continuing to provide warmth. Additionally, the down dries faster and can be machine washed without loss of quality. For extra weather protection, the lightweight nylon outer material is wind- and water-repellent. Side stretch inserts under the arms enhance breathability, temperature regulation, and freedom of movement. Stretchable hem and sleeve cuffs keep the jacket in place and prevent cold air from entering or warmth from escaping.
