The Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro Hoody offers ultimate sun protection and water resistance for mountain excursions in unpredictable weather. In addition to the UPF 50+ fabric, we have also incorporated GTT's revolutionary Empel technology, an eco-friendly, PFC-free, water-repellent surface treatment that outperforms all other C-6, C-8, or C-0 DWR solutions. The Alpenglow Pro is also equipped with a ¼-zip for temperature regulation, HeiQ Pure mesh inserts under the arms for added breathability, a concealed chest pocket, thumb loops, and a hood designed to be worn under a helmet, making this hoodie an essential layering piece from the desert to the Alps. Just like our popular Alpenglow Hoody, the Pro version of this hoodie provides protection from sunlight during belay marathons, featuring UPF 50+ fabric and Polygiene Odor Control for odor management. Additionally, the Alpenglow Pro Hoody is treated with Green Theme Technology's PFC-free Empel DWR treatment, offering a degree of weather resistance for mountain adventures.
