The Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro Hoody offers ultimate sun protection and water resistance for mountain outings with unpredictable weather. In addition to the UPF 50+ fabric, we have also incorporated GTT's revolutionary Empel Technology, an eco-friendly, PFC-free, water-repellent surface treatment that outperforms all other C-6, C-8, or C-0 DWR solutions. The Alpenglow Pro is also equipped with a ¼-zip for temperature regulation, HeiQ Pure mesh inserts under the arms for added breathability, a concealed chest pocket, thumb loops, and a hood designed to be worn under a helmet, making this hoodie an essential layer from the desert to the Alps. Just like our popular Alpenglow Hoody, the Pro version of this hoodie provides protection from sun exposure during belaying marathons, featuring UPF 50+ fabric and Polygiene Odor Control for odor management. Additionally, the Alpenglow Pro Hoody is treated with Green Theme Technology's PFC-free Empel DWR treatment, offering some weather resistance for mountain adventures.
