In the southeast of Spain, Karel and Pablo passionately create modern, rich, and top-quality wines. This young dynamic couple brings together wine and art – Vino y Arte – in a sophisticated combination. While La Màs Bonita, as Pablo affectionately calls his partner, designs trendy and provocative creations, El Chico Malo, also known as Pablo, pours his heart and soul into the art of winemaking. He manages 20 hectares of vineyards, primarily planted with Monastrell. Monastrell – not the winemaker's best friend – but Pablo meets this challenge with excellence and attention to detail, producing wines with sophistication, warmth, depth, and modernity. During a tasting of a new wine, Karel raved that this wine was to die for – and just like that, the name of the wine was born – DEMUERTE. The two are quirky yet extremely down-to-earth. They live 100% their passion for great wines combined with art and a wink.
