Tropical Mountains Sumatra

Directly from the coffee farmers of the Orangutan Coffee Project: Discover the medium-dark roasted coffee blend Sumatra in home-compostable coffee capsules for the Nespresso system. The Arabica, cultivated on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, comes from direct fair trade, supports the Sumatra Orangutan Protection Programme (SOCP), and is gently traditionally roasted in Switzerland. The Sumatra impresses coffee gourmets with its spicy chocolate aroma. Thanks to its full body, it is suitable for all coffee and espresso preparations. Like all coffee capsules from Tropical Mountains, the Sumatra is produced in a climate-neutral manner, Fair Trade certified, and packaged without aluminum. Tropical Mountains: This is organically produced coffee from the family farm of the Peruvian-Swiss couple Gisella Iriarte and Thomas Schwegler, as well as from farmers in the same growing region. Coffees from around the world complement the range. They also meet the Schweglers' requirements: climate neutrality from the coffee plant to the finished cup, Direct Fair Trade, and a specialty coffee rating by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) with at least 80 points.
