Santadi Rocca Rubia

Opulent and intensely colored, Carignano wines have always been. What they lacked was finesse, clear expression, and the polish that turns raw stone into a gem. The Carignano Riserva Rocca Rubia possesses these qualities. It is a selection of grapes from very old vines, all still cultivated using the ancient growing method (vigna latina), producing only very small quantities. It has a fruity bouquet of blackberries and blueberries, with hints of vanilla and licorice. Velvety on the palate with great structure and length.
