Since they are rather viscous and only a small amount is needed to achieve an intense color, they do not alter the consistency of the colored mass. The food paste is also suitable for coloring rolled fondant, Massa Ticino, modeling paste, marzipan, flower paste, buttercream, or royal icing with intense colors.
