Hors d'Age (translated as "extraordinary age") is considered a quality designation among connoisseurs. Indeed, La Aurora has allowed their "Hors d’Age" to mature for half a generation. Twelve years from seed to finished cigar: this is twice as long as the typical aging period for other premium long-fillers from La Aurora. This precious edition is limited to 6,000 boxes worldwide. The Ecuadorian wrapper and binder combine with filler from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua to create a complex composition.

The perfectly balanced Toro-format cigar, which has enjoyed additional years of aging, begins with spicy notes of black pepper. Throughout the smoking experience, woody notes remain present but are enriched with hints of cinnamon, nuts, and even citrus fruits.
