This coffee is raw and unroasted. It is suitable for home roasters. Those looking for coffee beans for immediate consumption can find the same bean light roasted for filter coffee, medium roasted for café crème, or dark roasted for espresso. The coffee has been sun-dried by coffee producer Rafael Vinhal: the whole cherry was dried under the Brazilian sun on the patio. The sun-dried coffee has a nutty and light flavor. For a coffee with more body and acidity, it is recommended to try the same bean in a washed preparation. In washed coffees, the bean is first removed from the cherry and then dried. If you desire a cup with more sweetness and fruitiness, choose the fermented preparation. Before the whole cherries were sun-dried, they were fermented in barrels. The coffee beans were harvested and processed in late summer 2020 and were bottled and shipped in January 2021 in Santos. The 60-kilogram jute bags were imported to Switzerland via Bremen and the Rhine port of Basel in March 2021.
