Grimbergen Ambrée is a full-bodied beer. Double-fermented malt gives this Grimbergen its amber-like color, while the rich, lush flavor is accompanied by bittersweet notes and a hint of caramel. Since its establishment in 1128, the Grimbergen Abbey has burned down three times and has been rebuilt by the monks each time. The phoenix symbolizes this inspiring past and the 900 years of brewing knowledge of Grimbergen. Grimbergen's beer recipe has stood the test of time and remains the foundation of the drink with its unmatched character.
