Feldschlösschen Original, the classic among Swiss lager beers, has been brewed in Rheinfelden since 1876.

The most popular Swiss beer shines out of the glass in a light yellow colour with a white crown. The beery aroma is accompanied by a fine hint of hops. The Feldschlösschen Original has a beery and slightly bitter flavour with a wonderfully refreshing finish. Brewed in the castle in Rheinfelden for over 140 years, it owes its uniqueness to the traditional brewing method and the exquisite raw materials. Feldschlösschen Original quenches even the greatest thirst and is perfect for any occasion - for an aperitif, a barbecue, a get-together or simply as a snack.

The beer wort is produced in the traditional way in the copper kettles in the brewhouse. In our fermentation and storage cellar there are modern tanks in which we ferment the wort with the help of our own brewer's yeast and then store and mature the finished beer. The matured beer is tasted and checked for quality by our master brewers. The beer is then filtered and carefully bottled.
