Château Latour Les Forts de Latour (2nd Vin)

On the fact sheet for the 2012 vintage, visitors would find the following figures for Les Forts de Latour: 76.1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, and 0.2% Petit Verdot. Rich purple-garnet, dense in the middle, with a purple shimmer on the outside. An amazingly deep bouquet, showcasing black plums, traces of truffle, dried blueberries, black pepper, and ripe Cabernet. The palate is dense and fleshy, with a discreet black chocolate bitterness in the extract and a smoky finish. For me, this is one of the most convincing Les Forts during my 30 years of primeur history. Bravo!.
