Product details
Chateau Coucy is one of the oldest wineries in the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation. The methodology used at the Chateau has been optimized from generation to generation. The 20 hectares of vineyards benefit from their southern exposure and the clay and limestone soil. The exceptionally old vines, consistent canopy management, and often underestimated winter work during the dormant season are additional factors that contribute to the quality of this wine. The grape harvest is strictly done by hand and transported to the winery in small containers of no more than 20 kilos for further processing. Later, the grapes are carefully vinified into a unique blend of the region's typical grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Chateau Coucy – a high-quality Bordeaux with character.
