Fazenda Dutra Single Origin - The alternative to your morning milk chocolate. This coffee is organically grown, directly and fairly traded. The coffee from Fazenda Dutra is considered to be one of the most consistent coffees on the planet and is honoured for this every year. It is picked by hand and fermented semi-wet. Flavours of milk chocolate, hazelnut and peanuts characterise this coffee with a very pleasant but low acidity.
About the farm: Fazenda Dutra is a family-run farm in São João do Manhuaçu, Minas Gerais, which has been specialising in the cultivation of sustainable coffee since 1950. Coffee plants are grown in contour lines together with avocado plants and mahogany trees, which provide shade for the coffee. The farm also produces its own eucalyptus. Today, Fazenda Dutra is a benchmark for sustainable cultivation methods.
