The Benito Hernando brothers Fernando, Gaspar, and Javier set out in the late 1980s to restore the 40 hectares of vineyards inherited from their parents, located in Curiel de Duero, Pesquera, Peñafiel, and Fompedraza, as well as the winery itself, in order to realize their vision of high-quality wines. Their vineyards feature many over 60-year-old vines, which guarantee high grape quality with low yields. These serve as the foundation for exceptional wines such as the Fiel, which has even been compared to Château Margaux.
