Like every adventure, this one began with a journey: Angelo Poretti's trip to Austria, Bohemia, and Bavaria, where he met the best brewers and discovered all the secrets of creating a good beer. Angelo Poretti returned to Italy and realized the dream of a lifetime. In 1877, he opened his own brewery in Valganna: a precious land for the city with pure water sources, an essential component for a truly quality beer. For over 130 years, Valganna has been the heart of the brewery, which today beats around the world.
