New to our range
The primary purpose of shampoo is to cleanse the hair and scalp. But if you buy shampoos that are perfectly adapted to your needs, you can get much more out of your hair wash. Products have become so advanced that they can, for example, protect your hair colour or repair broken hair.
What to look for when buying shampoo
Healthy hair depends on a variety of factors such as diet, environmental factors and a healthy scalp. For example, if you have a sensitive or itchy scalp, you should buy products that are as gentle as possible. If you have a flaky scalp, an anti-dandruff shampoo is recommended because it contains the appropriate ingredients to counteract dandruff.
In addition to your scalp, you should also choose your shampoo based on your hair type. Fine hair, for example, needs light conditioning products to avoid losing volume. Coloured hair, on the other hand, is usually heavily damaged and needs intensive moisturising and colour protection. If you have bleached your hair, you can also buy products that are specially formulated to counteract a yellow tinge, for example.
Use shampoo correctly
Shampoo is used for cleansing, so it is important not to apply it to the entire length of your hair. Also, be careful not to use too much product. A walnut-sized amount is sufficient for shoulder-length hair.
