The unique scent is based on a natural reaction: when the host tree is infested by a specific type of fungus, it secretes resin as a defense mechanism, causing the virgin wood to darken. From this, the coveted Oud oil is extracted through steam distillation, richly infused with resin. Organic and vegan. Made without animal cruelty. Made in France.
