This wonderfully nourishing butter melts slowly upon contact with the skin and can then be easily spread and massaged in. When applied to damp skin, it forms an emulsion that absorbs very well. It spreads particularly easily by rubbing the body butter into damp hands and then applying it to the (possibly damp) body. It is suitable for all skin types but is especially beneficial for dry skin. Areas of stressed skin such as hands, feet, elbows, and knees benefit from this rich extra care, and in winter, it provides excellent protection against the cold for the face, as it contains no water.
