Tested again after a good 2 months in the cupboard. It shows anything between 36.7 and 40.3 degrees. Can the device be calibrated or how does it become accurate again?

Is there a manufacturer's web site?, or somewhere with more information? The instructions are not very helpful, and the device seems to be working correctly only intermittently ('Lo' almost every reading, and sometimes 'roL'). However without good instructions it is difficult to know if the set-up is correct, or if the device is faulty.

Take the battery out and press a few buttons. Then put the batteries back in. That helped me.

After 3 temperature measurements, the rol display also appeared for me. Why is this error message not listed in the operating instructions? Thank you for the feedback

I have not yet experienced this malfunction. The part works perfectly. Could this possibly have something to do with the body/surface switch?
