The instructions are not very helpful, and the device seems to be working correctly only intermittently ('Lo' almost every reading, and sometimes 'roL').
However without good instructions it is difficult to know if the set-up is correct, or if the device is faulty.

I returned mine and received a new one. Not tied it yet. The first one was constantly displaying ROL.
 It looks like a poorly designed item.
