ECG + Pulse oximeters

Pulse oximeters use a non-invasive method to measure arterial oxygen saturation by means of light absorption when the skin is transilluminated. Besides, the devices used also serve for simultaneous pulse rate control. Can be used for self-monitoring for the prevention of hypoxia in e.g. high-altitude sports or sports flying, or with long-term recording also for the detection of sleep apnea, chronic lung disease or asthma.
