Tea tree oil is used to treat skin impurities and diseases as well as insect bites. The most common use of tea tree oil is for pimples, blemishes and inflammatory skin conditions. The vapour is also good for the irritated skin around the nose. If the scalp itches and dandruff forms, it is irritated and inflamed. Tea tree oil soothes the scalp thanks to its anti-inflammatory active ingredients. Simply add 5 drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo and wash your hair thoroughly with it.
