The Mepilex® Lite foam dressing has been specifically designed for the treatment of lightly exuding acute and chronic wounds. The thin foam dressing is soft and adaptable, making it easy to use on difficult-to-dress body areas. It can also be easily cut to the desired size.

It features Safetac® – the original contact layer with silicone adhesion that minimizes pain during dressing changes. The dressing gently adheres to the skin without sticking to the moist wound, allowing for easy removal without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. Additionally, the wound edges are sealed to protect the skin from harmful leakage and maceration. Clinical trials have shown that Mepilex Lite minimizes skin reactions caused by radiation therapy.

Mepilex Lite is suitable for a variety of low exuding acute and chronic wounds including diabetic foot syndrome, pressure ulcers, second degree burns and epidermolysis bullosa. You can easily cut Mepilex Lite to the size of a specific wound as the soft foam is highly customisable. This makes it ideal for wound areas that are difficult to dress, for example in the armpits or under the breast. You can use it together with our Tubifast™ fixation.
