Mepilex Lite Absorption Dressing Silicone 15x15cm (5 pcs)

Mepilex Lite is suitable for the treatment of lightly exuding acute as well as chronic wounds. The thin foam pad is soft and easily conforms to the body area. Additionally, the dressing can be individually cut to size. The layer that lies on the wound is a Safetac contact layer with silicone adhesion, which minimizes pain during dressing changes. Furthermore, the wound edges are sealed, providing protection for the skin.

Application

Clean the wound. Ensure that the skin around the wound is dry. Remove the backing and apply the dressing with the adhesive side onto the wound. The dressing should not be stretched and should overlap at least 2 cm with the surrounding skin. If necessary, Mepilex Lite can be additionally secured with a bandage or another fixation dressing.
