Manuloc Rhizo provides secure support for the wrist and thumb through integrated, anatomically shaped aluminum rods. At the beginning of therapy, immobilization of the joints is the primary focus, while for long-term recovery, it is important to gradually train the muscles. A Velcro strap on the thumb allows for the adjustment of the support to enable controlled movement release in the thumb's metacarpophalangeal joint. Once sufficient mobility is restored, the thumb support can be completely removed. This allows for gripping movements with all fingers, further stabilizes the hand, and reduces the risk of subsequent injuries. The flat design made of micro Velcro suede can be easily worn under clothing, does not snag, and is particularly lightweight.

Indications:

• Preoperative
• Irritation states in the wrist as well as in the thumb's metacarpophalangeal and saddle joints (post-traumatic and post-operative)
• Severe rhizarthrosis
• Combined injuries of the wrist and thumb saddle joint
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
