Manuloc Rhizo provides secure support for the wrist and thumb thanks to the integrated and anatomically pre-shaped aluminum rods. At the beginning of therapy, immobilization of the joints is the primary focus. However, for long-term recovery, it is important to gradually train the muscles. A Velcro strap on the thumb allows the support to be loosened, enabling controlled movement release in the thumb's metacarpophalangeal joint. Once sufficient mobility is restored, the thumb support can be completely removed. This allows gripping movements with all fingers to be possible again, further stabilizing the hand and reducing the risk of subsequent injuries. The flat design made of micro Velcro suede can be easily worn under clothing, does not snag threads, and is also particularly lightweight.
