In North Africa, it has been used for centuries for gentle, soap-free cleansing of skin and hair. The special cleansing ability of lava clay (from "lavare" = to wash) is based on a purely physical principle: when mixed with water, lava clay binds dirt and grease particles, making them easy to rinse away. Logona Lava Clay Powder is free from any additives. It is particularly mild and non-irritating, cleansing without affecting the skin's acid mantle or pH level, or damaging the natural protective layer of the hair. Logona Lava Clay is especially recommended for sensitive or impure skin, sensitive scalps, as well as for dandruff and oily hair. Application: Mix lava clay with warm water to form a soft paste, let it swell briefly, apply it to the hair and skin, and rinse off after a short exposure time.

Instructions for use | Lava clay in powder form is prepared as follows for washing the skin and hair: Stir 3-6 level tablespoons of lava clay (for medium-length hair) into about twice the amount of warm water. This creates a creamy, liquid paste. Allow the lava clay to swell briefly. If you have dry hair, it is advisable to add a few drops of oil (e.g. marigold oil) to the mixture. Then apply the mixture to wet hair and massage in gently. Leave on briefly and rinse thoroughly with warm water. One wash is sufficient. Then care for and dry your skin and hair as usual. |
