Solid shampoo is not hair soap. What is solid shampoo and how does it differ from liquid shampoo and hair soaps? Hair soaps are, as the name suggests, sifted soaps. They differ from shampoo in terms of their ingredients and the production process. The basic ingredients of any soap are fats and alkalis. In many cases, however, such over-greasing leads to heavy hair and a greasy appearance. Solid shampoo, on the other hand, has all the advantages of a classic shampoo, from the creamy lather to the nourishing effect. Due to its compressed form as a dry shampoo bar, it contains no water and is therefore much more long-lasting and economical. A shampoo bar causes less plastic waste as it is packaged in a small cardboard box. Solid shampoo contains no silicones, parabens, sulphates or paraffins, no microplastics end up in waste water and hair is not unnecessarily polluted.
