Original K-Tapes® are premium tapes designed for professional use in sports and therapy. They are made from high-quality cotton with a wavy acrylic coating and are skin-friendly, water-resistant, sweat-permeable, and breathable.

When applying a tape to the skin for an entire week, the choice of the best raw materials is important, especially regarding colors and the acrylic adhesive, to avoid skin irritations. K-Tapes use only colors that meet Ökotex Standard 100, as well as a Physiobond® adhesive specifically developed for use on tapes. Therefore, K-Tapes can also be used on babies.

The paper backing not only protects the acrylic coating but also accounts for the 10% pre-stretch from the production process. This means K-Tape for muscle applications already has the correct pre-stretch that you can directly apply to the skin.

The Physiobond® adhesive, developed exclusively for K-Tapes, features extra-long polymer chains that allow for good anchoring in the skin and ensure long-lasting durability.

Since tapes are applied to the human body, they are classified as medical products. K-Tapes are therefore manufactured under the strictest conditions, with compliance to these standards monitored by TüV Germany and SGS.
