Atrauman Silicone is a single-use wound contact layer designed for the treatment of superficial, acute, and chronic wounds that exude lightly to moderately. It is intended exclusively for use by healthcare professionals. Atrauman Silicone can be used as a primary dressing in combination with an absorbent secondary wound dressing or with the Vivano system for negative pressure therapy. It serves as a protective layer before the secondary dressing or negative pressure dressing is applied over the wound. This wound contact layer is permeable to exudate and can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on sensitive skin.
