Bios 1-Month

The Bios 1-Month by Conil are soft monthly contact lenses made from biocompatible material with a water content of 57%. They are suitable for correcting both nearsightedness and farsightedness and are available in strengths ranging from +6.0 to -12.0 diopters. The aspheric front surface reduces a type of optical error known as spherical aberration, which occurs with spherical lenses and primarily causes blurred images in low-light environments. With the Bios 1-Month, a sharp and clear image is achieved even in unfavorable lighting situations. This advantage, combined with high wearing comfort, provides an optimal visual experience. The Bios 1-Month lenses are made from Hioxifilcon A. The properties of this material resemble those of the human eye, allowing for excellent compatibility and minimizing adverse reactions in many cases. The contact lenses are not perceived as foreign bodies and are highly spontaneously compatible, making them particularly suitable for sensitive and easily irritated eyes. Even in situations that are demanding for the eyes, the lenses can be worn comfortably, allowing for clear vision. Bios 1-Month contact lenses mimic the properties of the mucin layer, which is part of the tear film. They adapt excellently to the eye and are very well tolerated even during longer wear times. The lenses are optimally wetted by the tear fluid and sit particularly securely on the cornea. The Bios 1-Month can be worn for several hours during the day, with a replacement required once a month. The lenses are non-ionic and therefore accumulate very few protein deposits. They are easy to clean and feature a blue handling tint for better usability.
