Bios 1-Month

Bios 1-Month from Conil are soft monthly lenses made of biocompatible material with a water content of 57%. They are suitable for correcting both nearsightedness and farsightedness and are available in strengths from +6.0 to -12.0 diopters. The aplanatic anterior surface reduces an aberration known as "spherical aberration," which occurs with spherical lenses and causes blurry images, especially in low-light environments. With the Bios 1-Month, a sharp, clear image is produced even in adverse lighting situations. This advantage, combined with the high wearing comfort, results in an optimal viewing experience. The Bios 1-Month are made of Hioxifilcon A. The properties of this material are similar to the human eye, so that the lenses are very well tolerated and defensive reactions are absent in many cases. The contact lenses are not recognized as foreign bodies and are highly spontaneously tolerated. They are therefore particularly suitable for sensitive and easily irritated eyes. Even in situations that are strenuous for the eye, the lenses can be worn in a relaxed manner and allow clear vision. Bios 1-month contact lenses imitate the properties of the mucin layer, which is part of the tear film. They can adapt perfectly to the eye and are very well accepted even when worn for long periods. The lenses are optimally wetted by the tear fluid and sit particularly securely on the cornea. The Bios 1-month can be worn for several hours during the day. Replacement is required once a month. The lenses are non-ionic and therefore hardly accept protein deposits. They are easy to clean and have a blue handling tint for better handling.
