Aromalife Jojoba oil

The high-quality, precious jojoba oil, also called "liquid gold" by the Indians, is extracted as a liquid wax from the seed of the jojoba bush. The oil shows excellent depth effect. The skin becomes velvety soft and elastic without becoming oily. The oil has a regulating and stabilising effect on the lipid moisture mantle, soothing irritated, stressed skin and making it more resistant. Due to the high content of vitamin E, the oil strengthens and tightens the connective tissue and prevents wrinkles. During pregnancy it helps to maintain the elasticity of the skin and prevent stretch marks.

Jojoba is chemically a liquid wax. Jojoba oil differs essentially from oils in that its bound fatty acids are not linked to glycerin, but to a so-called fatty alcohol (ester). These are similar to the human sebum and cause jojoba to blend excellently with it and form a delicate lipid film which binds the moisture of the skin but does not seal it in any way.
