Matt acrylic paints are water-based and specially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color palette includes a comprehensive selection of military colors used throughout recent history, from World War I and II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts to ensure the highest possible historical accuracy for model builders. Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to prime the surface first and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry quickly and create a homogeneous coating of exceptional durability while preserving even the smallest details of the model. For airbrushing, a compressor air pressure of 15 to 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg is recommended. Model Air can also be applied with a brush. For proper airbrush maintenance, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml/0.57 fl. oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying out in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and stored for a long time.
