Although a boy is told by his friends and family that Santa Claus does not exist, he firmly believes in the jolly, white-bearded man in the red coat. On Christmas Eve, he eagerly awaits the sound of the reindeer bells and is even more surprised when a steam locomotive suddenly comes to a stop outside his window. Together with other children, he is taken on that very train to the North Pole and experiences an extraordinary journey.
