Spray Primer: Super fine spray primer - the first step to a perfect paint job. High coverage and adhesion without obscuring model details. The primer compensates for light scratches and unevenness. It is available in various container sizes (100ml/180ml) and color tones. The primers are suitable for the following surfaces/materials: plastic (ABS, polystyrene), metal (steel, aluminum, die-cast), wood, ceramic. The primed surface can also be wet sanded before applying color. We recommend Tamiya sandpaper and sanding sponges, which can be used dry and wet and are available in grits from 320 to 3,200.

Tip:

• General guidelines for selecting primers: White primers are excellent for light paint applications, while light gray or gray primers are suitable for dark paint applications.
• When painting red tones (e.g., TS-8 Italian Red), prepare the model with the primer "Pink"; this will make the subsequent red tone appear more vibrant and with greater depth on the model.
• If you want to age the model, weather it, or add wear marks, it is advisable to use the primer Oxide Red. If you chip or scratch the subsequently applied paint, the effect of rust spots or flaked paint will be revealed.
