Romulus and Remus

Romulus and Remus were abandoned in the Tiber shortly after their birth, fed by a she-wolf and raised by a shepherd. In revenge, they lead a bloody campaign against the ruling regime of King Amulius, at the end of which they will found one of the most important cities of antiquity.

Sandal film by Sergio Corbucci, who, with screenplay collaboration by Sergio Leone, films the myth of the founding of Rome in opulent settings, before both devoted their energy to the Italo-Western and made history themselves with films such as "Django" and "For a Fistful of Dollars". The title roles are played by the muscle-bound Steve Reeves ("The Incredible Adventures of Hercules") and Gordon Scott, who became famous as "Tarzan".
