Romulus and Remus

Romulus and Remus were abandoned shortly after their birth in the Tiber, nurtured by a she-wolf, and raised by a shepherd. In revenge, they lead a bloody campaign against the ruling regime of King Amulius, culminating in the founding of one of the most significant cities of antiquity.

This sandal film by Sergio Corbucci, with a screenplay contribution from Sergio Leone, lavishly depicts the myth of the founding of Rome before both dedicated their energy to the Italian Western genre, making history with films like "Django" and "A Fistful of Dollars." In the title roles, the muscular Steve Reeves ("The Incredible Adventures of Hercules") and Gordon Scott, who became famous as "Tarzan," come together.
