After Chancellor Palpatine's rise to power, the wedge-shaped Star Destroyers became the backbone of the fleet, due in part to their immense firepower, and could be found in almost every theater of war. These hyper-flight capable long-range starships carried the dreaded TIE Fighters and were also used in system-wide invasions. They feature four-piece hulls with finely engraved surfaces, textured side panels, a multi-part bridge, engine replicas, and a display stand.
